ENFIELD RIFLES FROM ITALIAN NAVY

  We will have soon available 10000 Enfield rifles dismissed by the Italian Navy.  
  The lot is composed as follow:  
 
  • 5000 ENFIELD RIFLES N1 MKIII and MKIII* CAL.303
  • 5000 ENFIELD RIFLES N4 MKI CAL.303
  • 5000 BLADE BAYONETS MOD.1907 (LEATHER SCABBARD)
  • 5000 SPIKE BAYONETS N4 MK1 (METAL SCABBARD)
 
  General conditions of the weapons is from very good to excellent.  
  All the rifles are complete with all parts perfectly working and in shootable conditions.  
  No broken or missing parts.  
  Bolts are not matching number because all the weapons have been stored in the various Italian Navy Arsenals with the bolt disassembled and separate from the guns for safety reasons.  
  All the rifles are cleaned from grease both inside the barrel and outside.  
  No broken stocks.  
  On the N1 rifles only few brass disks are missing (on the right side of the stock) or they have been replaced with wooden disks.  
  Conditions of stocks is variable depending on the use of the weapons. Most of the N1 bears normal scratch and dents. Many of the N4 stocks are almost new.  
  Conditions of the barrels vary from 60 to 100%  
  The weapons are not CIP prooftested  
  The bayonets are in excellent conditions  
  No slings or other accessories available.  
  The N1 models are manufactured by Enfield and B.S.A. Few of them (about 2%) have the cut off.  
  All the N4 models are manufactured by Long Branch.

SPECIAL NOTE

We are looking for any information regarding the story of these Enfields.

We know for sure that they were supplied to Italy right after the II World War but the total quantity supplied is unknow. Italy assigned them to the Navy Arsenals such as La Spezia, Naples, Taranto, Cagliari, Agusta. We do not have any other information and we ask anyone who has interesting informations on this subject to kindly contact us.
